I have learned, though the experience of six months of quarantine that I like me, that the physical distance that I have imposed on my life has not become a "social" distance strategy. I have uncovered my soul's ability to soar, to reach out across miles and over oceans and to touch the hearts and ideas of those I care for. This new connectivity reinforced that I am not alone. I have realized that my fears are not mine alone, they are universal - nor are my hopes for a better future.
